How the price is worked out
Clear from RRP to checkout
We begin with the UK recommended retail price, take 20% off that figure, then add Jersey GST at 5%. The result is the customer-facing Fotosound price—there is no additional GST added at checkout.
This example is illustrative. The relevant UK RRP is used for each camera or lens, and promotional prices may be lower.

Straightforward local pricing
Fotosound camera and lens prices are designed to be easy to understand. We use the applicable UK RRP, reduce it by 20%, and then add Jersey GST at 5%.
The amount displayed on the product page and in store is already inclusive of Jersey GST. You do not need to calculate tax or add another 5% at checkout.
