How long do I have to make a claim?
Ask before you buy or within seven calendar days of the Fotosound purchase or online order date. The seven days run from purchase, not delivery or collection.
What counts as an identical product?
The brand, model number, version, colour, specification, included accessories, condition and warranty must all match. A bundle can only be compared with an identical bundle.
Which retailers qualify?
Retailers we will consider include John Lewis, Currys, Amazon, Jessops, Powerhouse, Fortuna and Romerils. For Amazon, the item must be sold directly by Amazon and not by a marketplace reseller. This list is not exhaustive, but the retailer must sell the product directly and supply it to Jersey. Grey-market goods and products intended for another market are excluded.
Do sale and promotional prices qualify?
A normal, publicly available promotional price may qualify. Clearance, closing-down, flash, member-only, loyalty, multi-buy, voucher-code, student, staff, trade and personalised prices do not qualify.
How do delivery, tax and other charges affect the comparison?
We compare the total price a Jersey customer would actually pay. Mandatory delivery, taxes, duties and other required charges are included when assessing the competitor's price.
Do used, refurbished or imported products qualify?
No. We do not match used, ex-display, returned, graded, refurbished, reconditioned, modified or grey-import products, or products intended for a different market.
How is an accepted post-purchase claim refunded?
We refund the eligible difference to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary. Cash, gift card or voucher purchases may need to be handled in the King Street store.
Can Fotosound refuse or limit a price match?
We may refuse unverifiable offers, obvious pricing errors, fraudulent claims, resale or trade purchases, and requests involving unreasonable quantities. Returned or refunded products are not eligible.
